Adding Text to my app

Am I doing this right? Is the only adding text area this tiny single line box?
Like I got a lot of text to copy and paste , and write.

So is there a better way?

Hi, if you empty the box and press Enter it gives you a multiline box:

Usually if I have longer texts though, I would just write them in another editor and paste into the text field.
