Back to (maybe) finishing an app after more than a year

Can someone get me up to speed what new, wonderful functionality is available since May 2021?

Specifically I have noticed a bunch of new modules related to Firebase. Is Firebase integration in good shape now? I would like to use it to 1) do authentication, set up accounts on a server, 2) be able to upload multiple files, with data from a few fields, 3) update/delete user specific data on as needed basis.

For now I want to stick to the Firebase free tier only.

I also would like to find out if there is any integration available with Stripe or similar service. Anyone know?
