Barcode value displayed on input field does not save on the databas

Hi.

I have managed to scan my product and have the barcode displayed on the input field. For this i used the placeholder text and connected it to a page variable(barcode value is saved there).

In the properties menu, the Value is connected to a variable data.

However when i tried to save the data, it does not save.

However if I leave the placeholder text empty and input manually, then it saves

Hi Michael. Have you solved your problem. Same situation in my app. Trying to get data from QR scanner but the output from port 1 does not set the app variable. (https://forums.appgyver.com/t/app-variable-not-set-after-qr-scan-how-to/6331)
