Can't figure out "Notification Opened" Event

I’ve been having trouble getting my app to perform an action whenever I open it via a Notification. The notification comes through fine but when I click the Notification, the app just opens as normal.

I added the “Notification opened” Event to my global canvas and tried to get it to open a specific page, but that didn’t work. I even attempted to do something simple like set an App Variable when the Event triggers and the Variable wasn’t set. It seems like the Event just isn’t triggering. Has anyone managed to get this Event to work?
