Change background color of Image with loading spinner component

Is there a way to change the settings within the “Image with loading spinner” component to allow the background color to appear through the image?

The top smiley face is using a regular image component (which seems to default to allowing the background color through) and the bottom one is using the “Image with loading spinner” component (which is defaulting to a black background).

I really dont know the solution, but this seems more like a bug than anything else maybe you can report it too
