Connect with S4HANA CDS Views

Hi,
I am trying to create an app by consuming an odata based on a cds view from S4HANA 2020 landscape. However, I am getting an error as attached. I can however use the test northwind odata url. Is there some other configuration to be done for consuming odata from S4HANA directly?

I use the same odata for consumption in SAC.

If you open developer console you’ll see that you’re getting a CORS error.

Hello,
Thank you. Your post definitely provides a perspective and you are also correct with respect to the CORS. However, I am still trying to understand why, even if I CORS and whitelisting done for the appgyver platform in S4HANA, I still get a CORS error. Any thoughts?

Can you please check the developer console → Network for errors? What does it say?

Additionally you can test if you’re still receiving cors or not: https://www.test-cors.org/
