Connecting firebase

Hi,

I’m new on Appgyver and new on the forum. I’m from Holland and I’m a teacher. I am here to learn to build a skill and assignment tracker app.

I have a question about the firebase connector. Im watchting the tutorial on: https://docs.appgyver.com/data/google-firebase#using-firebase-in-your-appp

In that video the narrator uses ios. if i follow his instructions, does that mean i will not be able to deploy the app on the playstore later?

hey Jitze welcome to the forum.

You will be able to deploy on the Google Play Store too.

I don’t think Android is covered in the video, but if you scroll down further on that page you can see the settings you need to follow for Android under “Connector configuration in Composer”. You’ll need to create an Android app in Firebase just like you did for iOS.
