Event output value (list of objects) to a Page Variable

This is probably a trivial question but cannot figure it out… I have a Combo Box outputting events as List of Objects. I can confirm that with testing. However, in oder to actually use the selected list, I need to have it in variable… how do I do that? Simple Set Page Variable with Another Component’s Output does not work. Combo box should outputting “Selected tokens” I assume.

Try assigning it using a formula, sometimes that works. Then screenshot whatever warnings you are getting. Someone can most likely help.
