Getting CORS error with Google Places API

I’m attempting to connect to Google Places API but i keep getting an error whenever i run the GET Collection test.

The error states:

Error: TypeError: Failed to fetch. Does the server allow CORS?status: undefined

Resource settings for Get collection (GET)

Resource URL: https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/place/nearbysearch
Relative path: /json?location=[long],[lat]&radius=50

Not sure what the issue is here.

Hi! Please see here for more information. Depending on your situation, there might not be much you can do about this

Hello
I am having exactly the same issue with Google Places API
The API request works perfectly in Postman or the browser but when I try to test it in appgyver it gives me this CORS issue…
I went to the FAQ but it’s not really helpful, are you saying we cannot integrate a google API ?
Kind regards,
Emeric

You may not be able to use our configurator nor use the resource in web, but if it’s a CORS problem you are still able to use it in iOS/Android, however you will have to either configure the schema for the data resource yourself, bypass having a configured schema by just using formulas with the data resource every time, or use http request flow function directly instead of our data integration.
