Google charts and information display

Hi all. Can someone please give me a walktrough on how to get my Google Charts showing something? My API is ready from form input - now I want to show it in a chart. Im a beginner but learning fast…I hope.
Also I need some tip on how to display a count from my API, lets say “How many from Texas entered YES?” And is there a way the user can change TEXAS in a searchfield to another state?

Thanks. Thats the one I can’t figure out HOW to use my API to render anything. Nothing happens…
