How do you give/create a client side stored record an initial value?

Any help much appreciated.
I want to have my app pull listed objects from client side stored record.
The variable / record needs to exist with initialised value before first app load.
Basically this is a list of objects with multiple properties with some degree of nested lists or objects within each. It’s far too tedious to initialise an object like this with a value through the variables editor GUI.
How do people practically specify an initialised JSON object or file to exist in client storage on first start?

My approach here was to type out a JS object in a JS node and JSON.stringify() it to generate a record object if it didn’t already exist in the data resource and set it using Create Record node.
This way I get access to the text editor interface of the JS object, and I can use an external editor if I wish, then copy paste into the JS flow object.
See the client-side power up video for the get and set record approach.
I used this inside the logic of the data variable I am using
