For IOS builds not yet. That is one thing that will be added for sure in the next few weeks (latest months), that’s gonna be needed for the SAP customers as well.
As for the other announcement please read it carefully again and register for that link. This is a new version of the Composer, which is built inside the SAP environment, it is more maintained, and so on. I’m not sure about the Android status, but web builds work reliably there so I usually generate my web builds in there.
Note, that this version is NOT a Free trial, it is a fully free version of Composer. There is only one limit on the builds, cannot have multiple builds queued up for a single type (like 2 web builds queued up at the same time). Which means it will stay free. It has several performance improvements and work within the editor is much more enjoyable again in there. I would suggest not moving for you until there is IOS builds, but just for experiments.
I don’t think there is an option to export your app and import it back to the old Composer, so for IOS stay here for a while. For the web no-brainer to move over, input fields have way more events (key press, submitted, etc), and generally, it is more performant.
Of course, the data tab has changed by a lot, but the rest API and Firebase integrations are still there, so overall I feel more confident in that version. If we (the Team I work in) didn’t focus that much on IOS, but more on the web, we would already be working only in the new version.
So please just test it for your use case, and in the meantime, you already have a plan b, so why not spend a few more hours exploring?
