Does anyone know how I might be able to integrate Firestore’s “listener” / realtime updates feature into an AppGyver logic flow?
The problem I’m currently running into is that in trying to do multiplayer game stuff with AppGyver using Firestore as the back end database, I’m coming up against the very real limitations of the “get/patch/delete/post” model. To keep all users aware of the state of everything in the game, which can change quickly, I’m having to constantly run GET requests for everything in the game that might change state. This means dozens of requests per second, per user, which adds up really quickly even with Google’s very reasonable pricing.
