I need to keep two words together (i.e. 10 km/hr.) so the space between has to be a non-breaking space.
Is there a way to add a number of non-breaking spaces to a string in a formula?
If "  " is added (i.e. “10 km/hr.”), it will be taken literally (won´t add spaces, but show the   characters instead of the expected space.
Tried with UTF-8 non-breaking character (\xa0), but it´s not recognized by the formula editor.
I´m using a web app on Chrome Version 84.0.4147.89 (Official Build) (64-bit).
Hi, try to write this to the formula editor:
\u00A0 when written inside a string in the formula editor will be decoded as a non-breaking space!
Thank you. It works smoothly.
Just out of curiosity, is there a list of special characters or escape sequences meaningful in the formula editor, as \u00A0 shown?
Here’s one example of a page listing escape sequences, but there is likely many others as well: https://www.rapidtables.com/code/text/unicode-characters.html (See the column “Escape sequence”)
