Upload a file via POST method - HTTP Request

Hi,

I use Sashido. A file gets uploaded to Sashido with this POST method

curl -X POST
-H “X-Parse-Application-Id: {APPLICATION_ID}" \ -H "X-Parse-REST-API-Key: {REST_API_KEY}”
-H “Content-Type: image/jpeg”
–data-binary ‘@myPicture.jpg
https://YOUR.PARSE-SERVER.HERE/parse/files/pic.jpg

The Pick Files method gets the local filesystem path.

How do I get the local filesystem path into the HTTP request?

The request body is a JSON. And the HTTP request does allow a selected file. Is there a way to specify the local filesystem path in the URL?

Thanks

Hi,

So you want to send the local filesystem path as the request body? Via the HTTP Request node or the Create Record node you can set the request body / schema as whatever you like and use variables in their content. You can save the path in a variable and use that in your request.

This is the exact same question I have in another thread but using Backendless for the backend, I’ve not received any guidance on this yet :frowning:

@Cecilia_Berg Are you saying not to use the Upload file Component?
