Why is Appgyver so slow?

Anybody want to get together and build an app builder that will work?

you mean you want to create another nocode/lowcode app builder?

There are already two great app builders, albeit expensive: Wappler and FlutterFlow.

Bubble is famous but also expensive. Or more simple : Glideapp, Adalo, Zyllio, Bravostudio, Goodbarber, Drafbit, … It is not the app builders who are missing.

Those are all horrible.

Flutterflow is a joke. Appgyver has them beat already.

I would rather creat a let’s code app builder. Code is not bad. It’s faster.

When AG has decent documentation and tutorials and a less steep learning curve and no more unstable preview and no more “lags” (especially when loading new styles somehow) and no more buggy components and a stronger tendency towards no-code rather than low-code (AG home page: “The world’s first professional no-code platform” which is not true) and a truly engaged community (meaning the AG team involved daily), I’ll agree with you. Yup, there’s a long road ahead, and that’s why FlutterFlow is still far far ahead.

There is a new entrant from Italy, based on Flutter too: https://teta.so/

Is Bubble really for lowcoders? seems pretty complicated to me as someone that don’t know building website from the front and back or even an App

you mean something like VisualBasic code for whole webdev and app development? maybe look at B4A(basic 4 android).

I do not like flutter because it is so dependent on Google and subject to lock-in. I think this community could build the best one because we have so much experience with where the poor dev experience occurs. I have already begun to build out a cloud build template for compiling the APK and aab, and I think the blockly library would be a good because if you have ever used sketchware the way the blocks only fit if they are supposed to work makes it very efficient.

To this day the best app I have ever built I built with sketcheare. It is pure java kotlin and functions smoother than any react native app. Wikacy on Google play
